<<She's always a woman to me>> é una canzone di Billy Joel facente parte del suo album The Stranger del 1977.

Essa venne scritta dal cantautore per la sua prima moglie Elizabeth Weber, con la quale fu sposato dal 1973 al 1982, e ne esplica il suo amore.

L'amore di cui si parla nel testo assume, secondo me, un valore autentico in quanto ne dimostra il vero significato. In ogni parola e in ogni suo accostamento il cantautore esalta questo sentimento nei confronti della donna amata. 

Quest'ultima viene presentata spoglia dei suoi pregi e difetti. Da questo emerge una lei  unica nel suo genere e non una "donna angelo" intesa come al massimo della perfezione. Per questo motivo il valore del testo é speciale e personalmente é una delle mie canzoni preferite in assoluto. 

Ho voluto condividerla con voi oggi, nel mio blog, sperando che ne sappiate apprezzare il contenuto quanto me. 

Riporto di seguito anche la traduzione in italiano, nel caso qualcuno non ne capisse il significato in inglese.
